MFA Classes
Oil Painting
This class is designed for the beginner painter, and also those returning to painting. Through the use of still life, learn about color mixing, composition, value and painting techniques.
As the class progresses, instruction will build on painting procedures and techniques. Through weekly demonstrations and critiques, students learn about painting materials and the properties of oil paint and solvents. A supply list will be provided at first class.
Landscape Painting
Working from your favorite landscape photo, learn the fundamentals of landscape painting. Construct your composition and learn how to develop the visual space along with a variety of painting techniques.
Oil or acrylic can be used. All levels are welcome.
